Our current opening for a Senior Medical Only Claims Representative focuses on investigating and managing medical-only claims across multiple Midwest jurisdictions.

• Investigate and manage all aspects of a medical-only claim, maintaining phone and written contact with all necessary parties.
• Verify coverage and resolve medical-only claims promptly and accurately.
• Approve or deny payment of medical invoices and determine case reserves, with up to $10,000 reserve approval authority.
• Handle medical-only claims in multiple Midwest jurisdictions, including Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, and Missouri.

• Sedentary - requires prolonged sitting and continuous use of a computer.
• Occasional travel - overnight travel to a claims review meeting once per year is encouraged but not required.

• At least 2 to 5 years of experience handling workers' compensation medical-only claims.
• Experience handling workers' compensation medical-only claimsνή IA, MN, NE, SD, KS, and MO is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately and quickly with a variety of internal and external contacts.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a work-from-home setting.
• A high school diploma is required.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
