Commercial Insurance Senior Account Manager - Transportation (Remote Option)

Title: Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines

Location: Fully Remote – applicants in Eastern, Central, and Mountain Time Zones. Hybrid option may require visits to a branch location within a 50‑mile radius.

Job Description:

Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business. Coordinate day‑to‑day administrative and customer service activities, resolve complex issues and maintain accuracy, and serve as a subject‑matter expert for the account management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry expertise.
  • Direct daily bosque activities and workflow of the account management team.
  • Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
  • Manage policy expirations, renewals, and renewal process negotiations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
  • Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Monitor activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain frequent, transparent communication regarding workload status and any issues.
  • Deliver excellent service, proactively anticipating needs and responding quickly.
  • Stay meerdere utated on company policies and procedures.
  • Seek and adopt best practices to improve individual and team performance.
  • Champion IOA values by demonstrating integrity and leadership.
Ideal

UF Candidate Qualifications
  • 7+ years of account management experience OR 10+ years in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
  • Active property & casualty licensing; professional designation (CIS, TRIP or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking 下载, social organizational skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
