Commercial Lines Account Executive

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a dynamic team. This is a service-focused role that involves managing a portfolio of construction accounts, supervising account managers, and ensuring exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, construction insurance, and account management, with the ability to mentor junior staff and build lasting relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriters.

This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall management of a portfolio of construction accounts, with premiums ranging from $100K to $1M+.
  • Supervise and mentor Account Managers and Junior Account Managers, delegating tasks effectively and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise.
  • Handle renewals and remarketing efforts, including analyzing coverage and presenting options to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters to secure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their professional growth.
  • Utilize AMS
    360 software for account management and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Licenses:
    Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience:

    3-5+ years of experience in commercial lines account management, with a focus on construction accounts.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in AMS
    360 software.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of construction insurance and marketing strategies.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
    • Approachable and easygoing demeanor.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
