Senior Underwriting Specialist Life Sciences; Hybrid​/Remote

• Underwrite new and renewal business for life sciences accounts across multiple lines of coverage
• Assess risk and make informed underwriting decisions in line with company guidelines
• Document underwriting decisions and communicate coverage options during the quoting process
• Identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling additional products
• Maintain proactive communication with agents to build trust and confidence

• Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience in small or middle market Life Sciences
• Strong knowledge of property and casualty coverages and underwriting principles
• Experience with Professional Lines, Cyber, and Products Liability is highly desired
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to negotiate and close accounts

• Experience with complex underwriting scenarios in the Life Sciences sector
• Proven track record of successful sales negotiations
• Familiarity with agency management and marketing strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
