This is a full-time role for an Account Manager in Medical Stop Loss located in Jersey City, NJ, with some flexibility for remote work. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, building relationships with brokers and carriers, and providing exceptional service. Responsibilities include processing and reviewing renewals, tracking claims, resolving account inquiries, preparing presentations, and maintaining accurate records.
The individual will collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and manage the overall account lifecycle effectively.
- Strong knowledge in Medical Stop Loss, insurance products, and underwriting principles
- Proficiency in managing accounts, building client relationships, and resolving inquiries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using software systems for managing client accounts and generating reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in the insurance or healthcare industry is a plus
