Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Property Field Claims Advisor to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Property Claims, you will be responsible to investigate, assess and settle residential property claims for Allstate Insurance Company of Canada in the Edmonton, Alberta area.
This position will work from a home office.
Role Designation:
Hybrid
- Investigate and settle property claims throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.
- Interpret insurance policy wordings and determine coverage and reserves.
- Analyze coverage details and provide prompt, fair settlements while delivering superior customer service.
- Collaborate with customers and vendors to bring files to resolution.
- Advise distribution partners on potential coverage opportunities when applicable.
- Perform other related tasks as required.

- Minimum 2 years of field experience.
- Strong customer service skills and positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Claim Center and Xact Analysis (mandatory).
- Ability to review estimates and write accurate scopes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Clean drivers abstract.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience adjusting residential property claims or in a related property claims role.
- Completion of CIP designation or willingness to obtain (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Experience handling boat/trailer, condo claims would be an asset
- Completion of the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) or the HAAG Certification is considered an asset.

CompensationExpected compensation for this role ranges from $67,200. annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
