Responsibilities

Review and audit underwriting decisions and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards

Monitor application and claims trends and respond proactively to potential risks

Deliver comprehensive reports for senior leaders and external partners

Lead risk management programs and mentor emerging talent

Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen underwriting risk management functions

Qualifications

7+ years of underwriting experience with high approval authority

Deep understanding of individual insurance products and operations

Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Power

BI, PowerPoint)

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Expertise in medical science and its impact on mortality and morbidity

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset, with proficiency required for candidates in Québec
