Risk Control Consultants (Independent Contractor)
Davies is looking for Risk Control Consultants to work on an independent contractor basis. Property and Casualty Insurance-based inspection work is the underlying foundation; however, most projects are consultative in nature leading to a better understanding of risk, and a focus on reduction of exposures leading to fewer accidents, injuries, losses and claims.

Due to the rapid expansion and growth of our services and products at Davies, the Risk Consulting Division has immediate and ongoing needs for experienced independent contractor specialists in Fire Protection, Loss Prevention, Risk Control & Mitigation.

Qualifications
Progressive career advancement and technical skills through continuing education, and/or a degree in Fire Protection, and/or a

B.Sc., and/or a M.Sc. and/or equivalent are required. Professional designations of EIT, P.Eng., CRM, CRSP, CIT, CIP are highly desirable but not a requirement.

certified instructor/trainer and presentation skills are desirable

completion of insurance institute courses

computer skills including use of typical office software packages

ability to operate a vehicle and visit our client’s policyholders on site.
