We are currently looking to add experienced Desktop Auto Adjusters to our team!
This role can work remotely or in a hybrid work model.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have experience in Commercial Auto Property Damage claims.

Analyze and interpret insurance policy wording to determine coverage and assess entitlements which are fair and equitable

Communicate in a timely and respectful manner with the customer, brokers, claimants, lawyers and other insurers to resolve claims.

Investigate and settle complex losses

Manage losses throughout Canada

Ensure all cases are clearly documented and meet any or all legislative requirements

Provide technical guidance and consultation to customers, brokers on risk management and control pertaining to trucking and commercial auto accounts

Conduct evaluations and assessments of commercial auto operations for existing and/or potential business

Formulate verbal and written recommendations based on technical expertise to help improve the account as required

Translate assessment findings into a report that supports the commercial auto accounts

As a representative of the company, provide quality customer service and experience to insureds and brokers as well as to internal customers such as claims adjusters and managers

Maintain knowledge expertise in commercial auto operations

Stay abreast to the knowledge of changes in provincial regulations and industry standards

Qualifications &

Experience:

A college diploma or a university degree is an asset

Minimum of 3 years' experience adjusting Commercial auto claims.

Long
- Haul Trucking and Dealership claims an asset (but not required)

Ability to handle or oversee moderate to complex claims

Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively

Excellent customer service skills

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Excellent time management skills

Knowledge of the provincial legislation governing auto insurance

Great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Driven with self-initiation and good problem-solving skills

Customer focused and results driven

Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PP)

Adjuster’s license or have completed a minimum of the first four CIP courses as follows:

Principles and Practice of Insurance

Automobile Insurance—Part 1

Essentials of Loss Adjusting
