Overview of the role:

At Policy Me, we are modernizing insurance in Canada. We are a remote-first startup based in Toronto, aiming to disrupt the traditional insurance landscape. We seek a motivated Licensed Life Insurance Advisor to educate customers, handle advanced cases, and guide them through our products via phone, SMS, and email.

Key responsibilities include:

• Becoming an expert in life, critical illness, and health & dental insurance products through training.
• Serving as the first contact for prospective customers.
• Addressing customer questions and guiding them through the insurance process.
• Using consultative sales techniques to match customers with suitable products.
• Collaborating with team members to solve complex issues.
• Participating in coaching, learning, and mentorship opportunities.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Managing inbound leads in Hubspot.

Qualifications:

• Valid LLQP license as a Life and Accident & Sickness insurance agent.
• 1-4 years of experience in insurance or related fields.
• Proven sales performance and ability to communicate complex concepts.
• Team-oriented with a growth mindset.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Quebec-licensed advisor.

Additional details:

• Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 OTE.
• Includes benefits, stock options, PTO, and remote work options.
• Requires background, credit, and reference checks.
