Position: Personal Lines Senior Underwriter Hybrid Role
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Step into a pivotal role as a Senior Personal Lines Underwriter with Gore Mutual. This hybrid position combines critical underwriting skills with broker management in a dynamic environment.

The Person al Insurance Underwriting team at Gore Mutual is growing, and they need a passionate Senior Underwriter. With at least four years of personal lines experience, you will tackle complex underwriting risks and mentor junior team members. Deliver exceptional service to brokers during all transaction processes, from renewals to policy changes, ensuring excellent collaboration and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide underwriting solutions for complex personal lines risks

• Cultivate enduring relationships with broker partners

• Mentor team members and provide technical advice

• Ensure smooth processes for renewals and new business

• Engage with brokers at industry events and assist business development

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years in personal insurance underwriting

• CIP designation or working towards it preferred

• Strong MS Office skills

• Effectiveness in building relationships

• Initiative and decision-making abilities
