About the Role
Claims Adjuster – International Casualty
Location:
London (Hybrid). Full time, Employee.
Purpose:
Deliver exceptional claims service by managing complex international casualty claims, assessing coverage, investigating and resolving claims, negotiating with stakeholders, and providing technical support.
- Support the implementation of the Claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets.
- Investigate and resolve complex Claims of a specialist nature, ensuring a high-quality service with minimal leakage.
- Identify and investigate coverage issues to ensure the company’s liability aligns with contractual commitments.
- Identify subrogation, contribution and other recovery issues and pursue them where appropriate.
- Manage disputed Claims and other material Claims issues to resolve and settle claims on an economic basis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to support their needs.
- Collaborate with Underwriters to align Claims support with broader business objectives.
- Experience handling International Casualty claims, preferably with US Casualty exposure.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with influencing skills.
