Aviva Casualty Specialist

Position: Aviva Casualty Specialist - Hybrid Role
Become a Casualty Specialist at Aviva, specializing in Bodily Injury claims with a flexible hybrid work setup. Utilize your extensive experience in claims management and negotiation to enhance customer support.

As part of the Protect Claims team, you will evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims while ensuring compliance with Aviva’s procedures. Your background in general liability and auto tort liability claims will be instrumental as you work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will also partner with defence counsel for litigated claims and mentor Independent Adjusters to promote best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate both litigated and non-litigated claims

• Develop strategic plans for claim resolution

• Maintain accurate and timely file reserves

• Communicate effectively with customers and partners

• Document all claim activities clearly

Requirements:

• 2-10 years handling bodily injury claims

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges

• Relevant post-secondary education
