Role Overview:
Underwrite new business and renewals within specified guidelines, provide technical support, oversee profitable growth, manage underwriting activities and P&L, and foster relationships with intermediaries and business partners to deliver underwriting service and innovation.
- Underwrite activities for corporate segment products.
- Manage relationships with intermediaries and business partners for underwriting service delivery and product development.
- Ensure personal technical development for optimal performance.
- Evaluate risk for new business and renewals to achieve profitable growth.
- Keep abreast of market dynamics and demonstrate market cycle awareness.
- Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements in underwriting activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, intermediaries, and stakeholders.
- Achieve key performance indicators on growth, profitability, and servicing satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the business plan.
- Support the implementation of team strategy to achieve business targets.
- Significant experience in Property Underwriting and intermediary management.
