Senior Underwriter – Property & Casualty
Join Navacord as a Senior Underwriter, specializing in Property & Casualty coverage in a hybrid environment. Utilize your experience to mentor future talent and manage underwriting processes effectively.
This Senior Underwriter position requires a minimum of 10 years in Property & Casualty insurance. Your expertise will help evaluate new and renewal business with a focus on profitability while maintaining robust bonds with brokers and clients. You will analyze applications, make key underwriting decisions, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Price and underwrite complex insurance risks
- Review applications to provide customized solutions
- Manage existing policies while ensuring profitability
- Build relationships with brokers and clients
- Support and mentor Junior Underwriters
- At least 10 years of insurance experience
- Broker Level 2 license as required
- CIP designation or progress in achieving it
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities
