As an experienced Commercial Underwriter, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert and support your team through coaching and mentorship. You will conduct thorough risk assessments and maintain positive broker relationships to enhance client service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess risk through background investigations and analysis

• Coach and mentor team members under the Assistant Manager's guidance

• Review and issue renewals, cancellations, and new business

• Maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients

• Analyze and classify applications to determine acceptability

Requirements:

• General Insurance Level 2 License, CIP or CAIB preferred

• Proven experience as a Commercial Underwriter

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in quickly retrieving customer data

• Engagement in industry-related associations
