Expert En Sinistre / Desktop Claims Adjuster, REMOTE (Laval, QC) – Expert En Sinistre Interne - Comptes nationaux

Remote full‑time, hybrid option available at our Laval office. Eligible to work from any location in Canada with valid Quebec claims adjuster license (personal and commercial).

Functional bilingualism in French and English (oral and written) is required.

Candidates with 2–3 years of direct damage and liability experience will join our National Accounts team. They will handle a variety of claims (auto, property, liability) across Canada.

• Prompt contact and follow‑up with policyholders and claimants.
• Investigate causes and report findings with solid recommendations.
• Identify liability exposures, recommend reserves, arrange investigations, prepare action plans, and negotiate fair settlements.
• Provide high‑level customer service to clients and insured parties throughout the claims process.
• Perform duties in compliance with established standards, policies and procedures.

• Proactive problem‑solving with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
• Strong analytical skills, including identifying cause‑and‑effect dynamics.
• Ability to draw valid conclusions and communicate them effectively.
• Organizational skills – prioritize and manage conflicting priorities.
• Calm demeanor under pressure, especially during conflicts and difficult situations.
• People skills – building relationships with team and stakeholders.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with current technology.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including listening, interviewing and negotiating.
• High‑level customer‑service orientation.
• Bilingualism (French & English) is a strong asset.
