This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Liability Adjuster to join our Construction and Engineering team. Although the team is based in London, we offer a flexible, home-based working arrangement for the right person.

In this highly technical role, you will manage a varied caseload of injury, disease and third-party property damage claims from first notification through to resolution. You will investigate policy coverage and legal liability, gather and assess evidence, identify potential fraud indicators, and maintain clear, proactive communication with all parties involved. Where required, you will oversee litigation activity and ensure the accurate maintenance of claim records, correspondence and management information.

Working with some of the construction sector's most recognised organisations, including Blue Chip clients and leading brokers, you will handle complex and high-profile claims while delivering a professional and commercially focused service. Strong analytical skills, sound technical judgement and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships will be key to success in this role.

To thrive in this position, you will bring experience from the claims environment, ideally with exposure to liability claims. You will be confident managing your own workload, making informed decisions and delivering excellent customer outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

This is perfect for someone who enjoys investigating complex liability claims, working with prestigious clients, taking ownership of cases from start to finish, and building a long-term career within a specialist Construction and Engineering claims team.

The skills you will have when you apply:
  • Claims Investigation & Resolution –
    Ha
    ve experience in EL, PL, injury and property claims, with the capability to investigate, manage and negotiate settlement of a personal caseload from inception to conclusion.

  • Legal & Technical Expertise – Apply in-depth knowledge of current case law, legislation and legal liability principles to support robust and commercially sound claims decisions.

  • Full UK Driving Licence – Hold a valid full UK driving licence and be able to travel as required to support claim investigations and business needs.

  • Organisation & Stakeholder Influence – Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, effectively prioritising competing demands whilst influencing and engaging a range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Professional Qualifications or Equivalent Experience – Possess insurance qualifications or demonstrate equivalent industry experience, with both considered equally in assessing suitability for the role.
