As part of our Mid-Market Underwriting team, you will manage a specific block of Group Benefits business, aiming to achieve key organizational goals. Your expertise in analyzing premium, claims information, and group characteristics will be crucial for effective decision-making and risk evaluation. Internal collaboration will be vital to deliver well-supported underwriting decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze group characteristics and funding arrangements

• Price renewals by assessing premium and claims data

• Deliver clear verbal and written underwriting decisions

• Conduct negotiations using underwriting guidelines

• Provide recommendations to enhance clients' group benefits

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in business or analytics

• Understanding of Group Insurance market and services

• Experience in Group Benefits

• Proven ability to support sales teams effectively

• Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
