Account Executive

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Servicing Account Executive to join a highly respected insurance brokerage, managing a specialist portfolio of clients. The role can be based in either Liverpool or Manchester, and offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, knowledgeable team while building long-term client relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong commercial insurance experience who enjoys taking ownership of client relationships, providing expert advice and working in a role where they can make a genuine commercial impact.

Responsibilities of the Account Executive:

• Manage a specialist portfolio of commercial clients, delivering a proactive and professional insurance service.

• Build trusted relationships with clients, insurers and key stakeholders.

• Take ownership of the full client journey, from renewal strategy and financial planning through to retention and growth.

• Develop tailored insurance solutions by gaining a thorough understanding of each client's business and risk profile.

• Meet with clients regularly, managing expectations and providing ongoing advice and support.

• Work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver exceptional client outcomes and identify new business opportunities.

• Ensure all work is completed in line with regulatory requirements and internal compliance procedures.

• Support and collaborate with Account Handlers and wider team members to deliver a seamless client experience.

• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge across commercial insurance products and insurer markets.

What we are looking for:

• Previous Commercial Insurance experience within an Account Executive/servicing role is essential.

• Strong technical knowledge across the major classes of Commercial Insurance.

• Knowledge or an interest in the Natural Resources and Renewable Energy sector would be highly advantageous but not essential

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure the best outcomes for clients.

• Organised, self-motivated and able to manage a varied workload.

• Commercially focused with a proactive and professional approach.

• A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared success.
