About YouThe Senior Insurance Specialist plays a more technical and operational role within the insurance department. They are responsible for maintaining accurate asset and inventory data, managing the loss prevention program, handling claims, responding to technical inquiries, and reviewing insurance clauses. This role often serves as a bridge between operations, finance, and external parties (brokers, insurers, surveyors).
In one of our professional roles,you’llfocus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity responsibilities include:
Maintain and update insurance data, including asset valuations, inventories, and financial information.
Respond to technical inquiries and support insurance surveys, inspections, and site visits.
Develop, implement, and manage the company’s Loss Prevention Program.
Manage the full insurance claims process, from notification through settlement.
Review insurance-related contractual clauses in agreements, leases, and other documents.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications/ experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or professional certification such as CPCU, ARM, or equivalent preferred).
4-6 years of experience in insurance or risk management, including exposure to claims handling and loss prevention.
Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policy wordings, and contractual risk transfer.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to coordinate with operations, legal, finance, and external parties.
