Experienced Underwriter in Hybrid Role

You will report to the Team Leader while handling underwriting requests and determining risk pricing. Your experience will guide you to collaborate effectively with colleagues and shape the underwriting landscape. Engage with brokers and ensure compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and underwrite new insurance business and renewals

• Collaborate with teams to evaluate risk options

• Negotiate insurance terms with brokers and partners

• Conduct thorough risk inspections and follow recommendations

• Guide underwriting assistants on endorsements and cancellations

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance

• Strong portfolio in the Realty segment

• AEC, DEC, or broker's license considered an asset

• Strong adaptability and responsibility

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
