As a crucial member of Sun Life's underwriting department, you will oversee advanced underwriting for high-net-worth clients. Your leadership experience will mentor junior underwriters while you skillfully assess and negotiate multi-million dollar insurance cases. This position is designed for those with strong client-focused skills looking to influence and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurability and all aspects of underwriting

• Make informed underwriting decisions based on comprehensive risk evaluation

• Negotiate with reinsurers effectively

• Explain underwriting decisions to physicians and advisors

• Support continuous improvement and innovation in the team

Requirements:

• 10-15 years of experience in individual life underwriting

• Bilingual in French and English essential

• Expertise in analytical and decision-making processes

• Holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• ALU certification with a dedication to education
