The Motherwell team works with a diverse range of commercial clients, providing professional advice and tailored insurance solutions across a variety of sectors. With continued investment and growth, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join an established team and play an important role in supporting its client portfolio.

As a Commercial Account Handler, you will support the management of a portfolio of commercial clients, working closely with Account Executives and insurers to ensure policies are handled efficiently from quotation through to renewal.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day administration for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
• Handling new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy documentation
• Obtaining quotations and negotiating terms with insurers
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers
• Supporting Account Executives with client requirements and renewals
• Ensuring policies are accurately documented and processed
• Providing a high level of service throughout the client lifecycle
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and FCA requirements

We are looking for someone with previous experience within a commercial insurance broking or account handling environment
.

You will ideally have:

• Experience as a Commercial Account Handler, Broking Technician or similar
• Good knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  
  Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• The confidence to liaise with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage your own workload

• Salary up to £40,000
• 4 days in the Motherwell office, 1 day working from home
