About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Claims Handler to join their fully remote insurance operations. This role is crucial for ensuring that customer claims are processed accurately, fairly, and in a timely manner. You will be the primary point of contact for policyholders during the claims process, providing clear communication and support. This position allows you to work from home, offering flexibility while requiring a high degree of professionalism and accuracy.

You'll be part of a dedicated team committed to excellent customer service and upholding the integrity of the insurance process, contributing from your own space in Port Elizabeth .

• Receive, register, and manage insurance claims from policyholders.
• Investigate claims to determine coverage, liability, and validity based on policy terms.
• Communicate claim status, requirements, and decisions clearly and promptly to claimants.
• Gather necessary documentation, evidence, and reports to support claim assessments.
• Process payments for approved claims according to company procedures and settlement agreements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims handled in the system.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance claims handling or administration.
• Solid understanding of insurance policies and claims procedures.
