Commercial Account Handler

Working Pattern:
Hybrid – 1 day working from home

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join an established and growing insurance business in Manchester.

As a Commercial Account Handler, you will manage and service a portfolio of commercial clients, working closely with Account Executives, insurers and clients to deliver a high-quality service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy administration.
• Obtaining quotations and negotiating terms with insurers.
• Liaising with insurers and underwriters.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Ensuring client documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
• Supporting Account Executives with the day-to-day management of client accounts.
• Providing a high level of customer service throughout the policy lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler within an insurance broking environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A proactive and client-focused approach.

• Salary up to £45,000
• 1 day working from home
• Established and supportive team
• Manchester-based role
