Remote Bilingual Catastrophe Claims Expert

Wawanesa seeks a Senior Bilingual Field Catastrophe Claims Representative to manage disaster claims across Canada. Adept in both French and English, you will lead investigations and evaluations in a remote setting.

In this fully remote role, you'll leverage your expertise in property adjusting to inspect and quantify damage from natural disasters. Key responsibilities include collaborating with contractors and policyholders, maintaining regulatory knowledge, and ensuring accurate documentation. This position demands travel across Canada as you address catastrophic events and complex claims with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate, evaluate, and quantify claims on a task basis

• Travel across Canada for onsite assessments as required

• Collaborate with stakeholders for timely claim resolution

• Write estimates and assist with dispute resolutions

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the claims process

Requirements:

• 3+ years of field adjusting experience

• Fully bilingual in French and English

• Valid Driver’s license with a satisfactory record

• Pursuing Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
