Join Blue Cross Life Insurance Company of Canada as an Actuarial Analyst focusing on pricing from anywhere in Canada. Leverage your analytical skills to influence life insurance and disability products that enhance lives.
This role is a contract position lasting 18 months with the potential for permanence. You will support individual life insurance product development and pricing while working collaboratively with various teams across Canada. Your insights will shape business strategies and facilitate successful product offerings in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and enhance AXIS pricing models for products
• Perform analyses for new product developments and enhancements
• Evaluate pricing trends to support decisions
• Collaborate across teams to advance pricing strategies
• Develop reporting on product profitability and trends
Requirements:
• Completion of at least two actuarial exams
• 2+ years of actuarial experience in pricing or development
• Experience with AXIS and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication in English, bilingualism is a plus
