About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Loss Adjuster to join their claims team in East London. You will be responsible for investigating, assessing, and negotiating insurance claims, ensuring fair and timely settlements for policyholders. This role requires strong investigative skills, a deep understanding of insurance policies, and excellent communication abilities to interact with clients and stakeholders. You will play a key role in managing the claims process effectively, operating within a professional environment that offers hybrid work flexibility.

• Investigate the circumstances of insured losses, gathering all relevant facts and evidence.
• Assess the extent of damage or loss and determine the appropriate settlement amount based on policy terms and conditions.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders and their representatives in a fair and professional manner.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, assessments, and settlement recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claim activities.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to policyholders throughout the claims process.

• Proven experience as a Loss Adjuster or in a similar claims handling role.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Relevant industry qualifications and a valid driver’s license are required.
