About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Loss Prevention Specialist to join their insurance team on a fully remote basis. This role is dedicated to minimizing financial losses by identifying potential risks and implementing preventative strategies for policyholders and the company. You will conduct risk assessments, provide expert advice on safety and security measures, and develop training materials. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about risk mitigation and can effectively guide clients and internal teams through remote consultations and assessments to enhance overall safety and reduce claims.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive on-site and virtual risk assessments to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement customized loss prevention strategies and recommendations for clients.
- Provide expert guidance on safety protocols, security measures, and regulatory compliance.
- Investigate incidents and analyze trends to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Create and deliver training programs and educational materials on loss prevention best practices.
- Collaborate with claims, underwriting, and sales teams to integrate loss prevention insights.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in loss prevention, risk management, or a related field within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in conducting virtual assessments and utilizing remote collaboration tools.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as CSP or ARM are a plus.
