About the Role

Our client seeks a motivated and client-focused Insurance Broker to join their established brokerage in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for advising clients on appropriate insurance coverage, sourcing policies from various insurers, and negotiating terms to best meet their needs. Building strong relationships and providing expert advice are paramount. This hybrid role allows for valuable in-person client interaction and team collaboration, alongside the flexibility of remote work, supporting professional development in a dynamic market.

• Consult with clients to understand their insurance needs, risks, and financial objectives.
• Research and present a range of insurance options from different providers, explaining policy details and coverage levels.
• Negotiate with insurance companies to secure the best possible terms and premiums for clients.
• Manage client portfolios, including renewals, endorsements, and claims assistance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers through regular communication.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or a similar advisory role.
• Thorough knowledge of various insurance products (e.g., business, personal, life, health).
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant professional qualifications and regulatory compliance (e.g., FAIS, RE 1 & RE
  5).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid model.
• Strong business acumen and a client-centric approach.
