Senior W&I Claims Advocate

Location: Nottinghamshire

A Lloyd's Broker seek an experienced W&I claims professional. In this exciting role, you will be primarily responsible for the management, strategy and process for the agreement, collection and successful settlement of a portfolio of Financial Lines claims. The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) claims and the confidence to co-ordinate and initiate discussions with networks, clients, underwriters and experts.

A good understanding of ECF will be advantageous. This will be a hybrid role, with lots of flexibility to work from home. Duties and Responsibilities First notification of loss for W&I claims. Negotiation and liaison with markets, clients, placement teams, specialists, network offices, underwriters and appointed authorities (loss adjusters, lawyers etc). Conduct data analysis to establish the claims history for a particular client or business portfolio, and to identify trends and patterns in claims for a client or business segment.

Negotiate the payment and settlement of claims with clients and underwriters. Co-ordinate discussions and meetings to ensure a superior level of communication between the client, underwriters and their representatives concerning the proposed settlement.
