About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Insurance Broker specializing in Commercial Lines to join their hybrid team in Randburg . You will be responsible for advising businesses on their insurance needs, sourcing appropriate cover from various insurers, and negotiating the best terms. This role demands strong market knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
You will split your time between remote work and collaborating from our Randburg office, engaging directly with clients to provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Assess the insurance requirements of commercial clients across various industries.
- Source and present competitive insurance proposals from a range of reputable insurers.
- Advise clients on risk management strategies and appropriate policy coverage.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums with insurers on behalf of clients.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention through regular reviews and proactive service.
- Stay updated on market trends, new products, and regulatory changes affecting commercial insurance.
- Assist with claims processing and resolution where necessary.
- Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or similar role, with a focus on commercial lines.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products (e.g., liability, property, marine, cyber).
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with business clients.
- Proficiency in relevant insurance software and MS Office.
- A relevant insurance qualification and regulatory accreditation are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with office-based responsibilities in Randburg .
