We're in search of an experienced Commercial Lines Underwriter to enhance our specialty underwriting team. Intermediate candidates eager to take on new responsibilities and learn from seasoned professionals are welcome, as well as more senior underwriters. Emphasis is on assessing commercial submissions, building broker connections, and driving portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess a steady flow of commercial submissions

• Build productive relationships with brokers to increase submission flow

• Make informed underwriting decisions based on risk assessment

• Collaborate with the underwriting team while working independently

• Drive new business development and growth in the portfolio

Requirements:

• Intermediate to senior-level commercial lines underwriting experience

• Proven ability to manage high volumes of submissions

• Strong new business underwriting skills and negotiation abilities

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

• Located in Canada, supporting Eastern business hours
