Group Underwriter

Position: Group Underwriter Hybrid Role at Equitable

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite group benefits requests and existing case business

• Screen group requests for missing information and assess risks

• Set and negotiate final rates with Account Executives

• Communicate decisions on special rate reviews effectively

• Support the Group Underwriting Assistant as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of group benefits experience

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Bilingual in French and English preferred

• Good verbal, written, and negotiation abilities

• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and change
