** Job Description
** Claims arise from hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes, and other natural or man-made disasters and may involve auto, commercial, flood, and property losses. The Centralized Processes Oversight Technical Reviewer provides claims guidance, quality assurance, training, and operational oversight through focused audits, claim analysis, and technical support to Field Claims operations. This role monitors claims handled by NCT staff, non-cat staff and contingent workers throughout the claim lifecycle, providing direction on investigations, coverage, liability, damages, and claim valuation.

The reviewer also exercises settlement and denial authority on moderate-severity losses that exceed adjuster or contingent worker authority.

* What You’ll Do:

*** Serve as a resource to management with complex coverage issues and high-severity claims.
* Authorize damage estimates and claim payments for moderately complex losses.
* Provide vendor oversight and Staff Oversight – CAT and regular business.
* Support coverage investigations, supplement triage, subrogation investigations, Public Adjuster claims, ALE handling, asbestos abatement, Outside Adjuster ladder assists, and contents inventory and pricing.
* Review statistical and performance reports to assess claim outcomes, processes, procedures, and communicate findings.
* Conduct claims performance, quality, and audit reviews.
* Document claim files with clear notes, evaluations, and decision rationale.
* Summarize documentation and enter information into claim system notes.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Three or more years of direct property adjusting experience.
* Property estimating experience, including estimate writing.
* Experience using estimating tools (e.g., Xactimate).
* Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* High attention to detail with strong time management and analytical skills.
* Candidates located within the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones are preferred.
