Job Responsibilities Submissions
Manage the recording and progress of submissions by the underwriting team in US and UK. Work with team to ensure prompt responses and appropriate follow up. Monitor updates of submission recording system to ensure it is updated in a timely and accurate manner.
QuotesOversee use of reinsurance capacity per transaction with underwriters based on Underwriting Guidelines and Reinsurer Risk Appetite. Manage internal and external communication and approvals required to proceed with transactions and execute appropriately.
BindingManage finalization of documents with underwriters and ensure they are signed and all required information has been received. Work with Operations team to ensure prompt binding and recording of deals in systems. Organize and then file deal documents accurately to ensure adherence to current underwriter guidelines and corporate protocols.
Policy AdministrationMaintain Underwriting files – Ensure filing of Endorsements/Amendments and correspondence in on‑line policy files. Liaise with Operations, Finance & Accounting to ensure proper billing, reserving and
-monitoring of premium. Manage ongoing premium schedules for each policy, ensuring creation of invoices and oversee prompt payment, collection and processing. Communicate with brokers to administer transactions and assist with open questions. Respond promptly to requests for policy amendments and changes; push through document changes and ensure updates to policy recording systems.
Prepare reports as requested and circulate, analyze data produced for inconsistencies and anomalies, follow through on required steps triggered by the reports and respond to any questions. Review and distribute monthly bordereaux and related reports to (re) insurers. Maintain reference materials for underwriting, as required. Support the development and utilization of the new Underwriting system.
Basic QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:
Minimum of 2–5 years of active experience within the insurance sector. Candidates with extensive career longevity or seasoned backgrounds in the workforce are highly encouraged to apply and will be viewed very favorably.
Exceptionally organized and disciplined to thrive in a remote work environment. Must possess strong time‑management skills and the ability to maintain peak productivity with minimal direct supervision.
