Remote Claims Adjuster

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Remote Claims Adjuster to join their distributed team, supporting operations across Welkom and other regions. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and negotiating settlements for insurance claims. You will utilize your expertise to assess damages, determine liability, and ensure fair and timely resolution for policyholders, all while working independently from your home office.

This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage a caseload efficiently in a virtual environment.

• Conduct thorough investigations into insurance claims, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing policy documents.
• Assess the extent of damages or losses sustained by policyholders and determine the appropriate course of action for settlement.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, ensuring fairness and compliance with policy terms and company guidelines.
• Document all claim activities, findings, and settlement details meticulously in the claims management system.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with claimants, legal representatives, and internal teams throughout the claims process.
• Manage a caseload of claims effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and service level agreements.

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or similar role within the insurance industry.
• Solid understanding of insurance policies, claims investigation procedures, and settlement practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with claims management software and virtual communication tools.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
