Remote Insurance Claims Processor

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Remote Insurance Claims Processor to join their fully remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing various types of insurance claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. You will play a vital part in the claims lifecycle, providing timely service to policyholders and contributing to the overall efficiency of the claims department.

• Receive, review, and process insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner using designated software systems.
• Verify policy coverage and gather necessary documentation to support claim assessments.
• Input claim data, update claim status, and maintain accurate records throughout the claims process.
• Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and internal departments to obtain required information or clarify details.
• Identify potential issues or discrepancies and escalation to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Ensure adherence to all company procedures, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements.
• Assist with generating reports on claim processing activities as needed.

• Previous experience in claims processing or a similar administrative role, preferably within the insurance industry .
• Strong data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle a high volume of tasks remotely.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
