Join our specialist team as an Account Executive, supporting clients across a wide variety of commercial risks, including the more specialist coach, bus and haulage sectors. As part of a global leader in insurance, risk management and consulting, you'll work with established mid-market clients while developing your expertise within a highly respected and collaborative team. This is a broad commercial insurance role, managing and developing client relationships across a range of risks.

While the portfolio includes motor insurance and transport-related accounts, we're keen to hear from experienced commercial Account Executives from any sector background who are looking to specialise or broaden their expertise. You'll join a well-established team with a strong reputation in the transport market, supported by long-standing client relationships, quality new business opportunities and a dedicated in-house claims function. The role offers the autonomy to grow your portfolio while being backed by experienced colleagues and market specialists.

We're flexible on location and open to home-based candidates. You'll attend strategic team meetings approximately 1-2 times per month, typically in London/West Malling, with the remainder of your time worked remotely and traveling to clients.

• Manage the renewal process for your clients, gathering information and discussing terms to secure the best outcomes.
• Maintain and grow your book of business by identifying and acting on new opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with brokers to access competitive terms that meet your clients’ objectives.
• Visit clients as needed, showcasing your interpersonal skills and commitment to excellent service.
• Handle account queries and credit control matters, resolving issues promptly and escalating concerns when necessary.

• You have a strong experience of general insurance products, services, and classes of insurance, as well as knowledge of the London Market, Lloyd’s, and the wider industry.
• Strong sector experience in transport (coach & bus and/or haulage) is highly desirable.
• Holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications, Cert CII, Dip CII or ACII would be an advantage. Educated to GCSE/A-Level standard or equivalent, with an intermediate knowledge of the commercial insurance industry
• You’re detail-oriented, with excellent administrative skills and a focus on accuracy.

• You’re proactive and driven, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• You’re eligible to work in the UK and are open to travel as required.
