DescriptionThe Opportunity
Our client, a Canadian-owned independent adjusting firm, is seeking a Property / Multi-Line Claims Adjuster to support continued growth across the greater Toronto area. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced adjuster who enjoys managing claims independently, building strong client relationships, and contributing to business development in a growing market.
The position involves handling property and multi-line claims, including commercial general liability (CGL) exposures where experience permits. While technical adjusting expertise is important, our client is equally interested in individuals who bring initiative, strong industry relationships, and a genuine interest in developing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated professional who values flexibility, enjoys working directly with clients, and is attracted to an entrepreneurial environment where earning potential is closely connected to individual performance and business growth.
The Employer
Our client is an established, Canadian-owned independent adjusting firm with operations across Canada and North America. The organization provides a broad range of claims adjusting services, supporting both everyday claims and catastrophe-related losses across personal and commercial insurance.
With an expanding presence in British Columbia, the firm is focused on building long-term client relationships and strengthening its regional capabilities. Adjusters enjoy a high degree of independence, a flexible working environment, and the opportunity to contribute directly to the organization's continued growth.
About You
You are a motivated property or multi-line adjuster who takes ownership of your work and enjoys developing relationships within the insurance industry. You are comfortable managing claims independently, communicating with clients, and identifying opportunities to grow your business.
You bring strong technical adjusting capabilities, particularly in property claims, along with an understanding of commercial exposures. Experience handling CGL claims is highly valued.
You may already be working as an independent adjuster or be an insurer-side adjuster looking for an opportunity to transition into a more entrepreneurial environment. Most importantly, you have the drive, confidence, and relationship-building skills to establish yourself in a growing market.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage claims independently and maintain strong client service standards
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable contributing to business development activities
