This position is ideal for an experienced insurance professional with strong Commercial Lines experience, including knowledge of New York Labor Law, along with some Personal Lines experience. Account Representative to join a collaborative 6-person service team. This role is ideal for someone who can remotly work independently while contributing to a team oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare quotes and applications for commercial and personal lines
- Process ACORD forms, , and certificates of insurance
- Assist clients with day-to-day service needs and policy inquiries
- Market and remarket accounts; manage renewals
- Navigate carrier websites for rating and quoting
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records
- Active New York State Property & Casualty License
- Working knowledge of the insurance brokerage environment
- Proficiency with carrier rating platforms and quoting tools
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to gather underwriting information and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and customer service skills
