This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Property Claims Adjuster (Inside) based in the United States.

The Property Claims Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve property insurance claims through phone-based and other remote communication channels.

This role covers both personal and commercial property losses, including structural damage, contents, additional living expenses, scheduled property, and business income claims.

You will deliver responsive, tailored service to policyholders while coordinating with independent adjusters and preferred contractors to support accurate, timely claim resolution.

Working closely with internal claims teams and other business partners, you will ensure claims are handled in accordance with policy coverage, regulatory requirements, and established procedures.

The position requires strong investigative judgment, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage a consistent monthly claims workload.

This is a full-time remote opportunity for an experienced claims professional who values customer service, collaboration, and continued development in the property insurance field.

  • Support Specialized Claims

    Activities:

Assist resolution specialists with assigned tasks, including contents valuation and depreciation holdback calculations, while helping move claims toward appropriate resolution.
  • Follow established claims procedures for communication, coverage verification, loss investigation, liability assessment where applicable, valuation, reporting, documentation, negotiation, and settlement.
  • Meet Productivity Expectations:
Investigate and close an average minimum of 70 claim elements per month, or 85 per month for roles focused primarily on contents claims.
  • Contribute to Catastrophe Response:
Support catastrophe claims operations across the company's service territory, including overnight travel or extended stays when requested.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
Participate in claims and cross-functional initiatives as assigned, maintaining effective communication with agents, sales representatives, underwriting, marketing, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
