• A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA) or equivalent international designation (e.g., FIA, SOA Fellow).
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in actuarial roles within the insurance industry.
• Proven expertise in life insurance or short-term insurance, with a strong track record in pricing, reserving, and/or financial modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, GGY AXIS) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
