Project Coordinator Des Moines, Iowa Onsite

As our client list grows, we are in need of someone to help us manage our project workload. If you’ve always wanted to work in technology, this would be a great opportunity to get your foot in the door. We are more than happy to bust that door wide open for you.

You would work closely with almost everyone in our company , but more directly with our sales team and support specialists. Your day-to-day responsibilities would be to:

• Update equipment lists and/or scope to ensure accurate pricing for the final invoice
• Ensure projects are completed on time
• Identify and track project goals, progress, and deadlines
• Communicate project progress with stakeholders and inform them when issues arise
• Confirm and track delivery of required project equipment and availability/ETAs
• Collaborate with clients, team members, and third parties to schedule projects and support requests
  Organize post-mortem meetings
• Contact stakeholders once a project is complete and solicit feedback

This position does not require experience in the technology industry. If you genuinely enjoy working with people and solving problems for them, we can teach you the technical elements of this position. We are looking for someone with:

• Strong roots in a customer experience field (hospitality, retail, services, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, can communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Genuine satisfaction when projects and tasks are properly organized
• Natural ability to build and maintain relationships with anyone you interact with
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, without getting overwhelmed
• Someone who feels comfortable talking on the phone with clients
• A very basic understanding of computer hardware and software
• Prefers to “do things correctly,” rather than quickly

• Live in the Greater Des Moines Area
• Available to work 40 hours a week
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle for transportation
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 30 lbs. of equipment

Many of our larger projects require us to install equipment at the offices of our clients. While we offer flexibly work-from-home options, we’ve found that these projects go much smoother if we can collaborate in person. This also makes training and mentorship more effective as well.
