LSE; Spanish Sign Language Interpreter

Join to apply for the LSE (Spanish Sign Language) Interpreter role at Hanna Interpreting Services LLC. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role with the potential for 100% remote work. Appointments are available Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, but are not guaranteed and are offered based on need.

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language service provider that connects bilingual and multilingual individuals with freelance interpreting or translating opportunities. The company aims to bridge the communication gap for those in need through excellent and compassionate language services.

As an interpreter, you contribute to language access for everyone, operate as your own boss, set your availability, and accept appointments based on your schedule.

Rates vary by availability, experience, and demand of the language.

Note: We are hiring LSE (Spanish Sign Language) Interpreters to join the linguist network as freelance interpreters.

• Provide interpretation services in LSE (Spanish Sign Language) for assignments as scheduled.
• Operate as an independent contractor, managing your own availability and appointments.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interpreting engagements.

• Proficiency in LSE (Spanish Sign Language).
• Willingness to complete an LSE assessment by a Certified Professional (exceptions may apply with proven work history and certifications).
• Complete all required documents in a timely manner.
• Flexibility to work in different settings and adapt to various environments.
• Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Submit your application and describe your experience interpreting in professional or volunteer settings.
• Recruitment team will contact you to schedule a preliminary interview.
• If you meet baseline requirements, you’ll complete a skills assessment and background check.
• Qualified interpreters will be invited to complete onboarding to join the linguist network.
