Cantonese Interpreter

As a remote interpreter, you will facilitate communication between Cantonese and English speakers. You must process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner, ensuring a quiet and secure environment.

• Fluency in English and Cantonese
• Minimum 2‑year interpretation experience preferred
• Excellent listening, retention and note‑taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the client’s request

• Computer or laptop
• Windows 10 or higher
• USB wired headset
• Steady wired internet connection (at least 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload)
• Webcam
• Solid‑color backdrop (e.g., royal blue, charcoal, bright green)

• Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language
• Remote position – interpreter works from a home office

• Monthly payments based on a per‑minute rate
