Wycliffe Associates is working on Bible translation projects for deaf and blind individuals worldwide. Using a process called SUN (Symbolic Universal Notation), a symbol‑based writing system gives the deaf‑blind immediate access to Scripture. Around 600,000 people worldwide are both deaf and blind. SUN was created to bring Scriptures to them using universally recognized pictures and symbols.

Responsibilities

Translate an English training manual (26 pages) into Arabic.
Assist in creating resources for teachers to the deaf and blind in Arabic‑speaking regions.
Provide remote translation service, 8 hours per week.

Qualifications

Native or bilingual Arabic speaker.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
Basic computer skills; proficient in Word and Excel spreadsheets.
Excellent oral and written communication.

Additional Information

This is a volunteer ministry opportunity. Remote work, 8 hours per week.
