As an AI Tutor specialized in multilingual capabilities, you will contribute to xAI's mission by training and refining Grok to handle diverse languages with accuracy and cultural nuance. Your work will directly impact Grok's global accessibility, enabling seamless interactions for users worldwide, bridging language barriers, and enhancing the AI's understanding of multilingual contexts through targeted annotations and data curation.

You will use proprietary software to provide labels, annotations, and inputs on projects involving multilingual text, translations, and cultural adaptations. You must support the delivery of high-quality curated data that ensures accurate language representation and contextual fidelity. In this effort, you will collaborate with technical staff to develop tasks that improve AI's ability to process and generate content in multiple languages.

You’ll also work with technical staff to improve annotation tools for efficient workflows.

• Demonstrated high proficiency in English, with strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• High fluency in at least one of the following languages:
  Chinese (Simplified), Spanish, German, French, Arabic (Khaleeji), Italian, Portuguese or Hindi.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multilingual content, including translation accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and contextual interpretation.
• Strong comprehension skills and the ability to make independent judgments on ambiguous or limited multilingual material.
• Strong ability to navigate information resources, databases, and online sources in multiple languages for verification and analysis.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to developing AI that supports inclusive, multilingual intelligence.

• Experience in translation, linguistics, content localization, or roles involving multilingual data annotation.

• This position is based in Palo Alto, CA, or fully remote.
• The Palo Alto option is an in-office role requiring 5 days per week; remote positions require strong self-motivation.
• If you are based in the US, please note we are unable to hire in the states of Wyoming and Illinois at this time.
• We are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
• Team members are expected to work from 9:00am - 5:30pm PST for the first two weeks of training and 9:00am - 5:30pm in their own timezone thereafter.
• You must own and have reliable access to a smartphone.

$45/hour - $100/hour

Hourly pay is just one part of our total rewards package cific benefits vary by country; depending on your country of residence you may have access to medical benefits. We do not offer benefits for part-time roles.
