Chinese Interpreter

We are a leading language service provider offering interpretation services worldwide. We are seeking a Cantonese‑English Interpreter for full‑time remote work.

• Provide on‑demand VRI and OPI interpretation services for appointments, consultations, and procedures.
• Interpret accurately and efficiently between Cantonese‑speaking LEP and professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and codes of ethics.
• Collaborate with other interpreters and team members to ensure high‑quality services are provided to clients.
• Stay up‑to‑date with medical and financial terminology and procedures to ensure accurate interpretation.
• Handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.

• 1 year of experience as an OPI and VRI interpreter.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and OPI/VRI protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Reliable internet connection and access to necessary technology for remote work.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and codes of ethics.
• You will be paid for the hours of connecting whether you get calls or not.

• Minimum 10th gen processor (i5, i7 or newer) / Ryzen 3000 series or newer, at least 2.0 GHz.
• 10 MB download and 10 MB upload speed with latency lower than 100 ms.
• Must have USB headsets.
• Must have LAN cable connection.

Monday to Friday – 8‑hour shift plus 30 min on non‑paid lunch break.

5:00 am to 5 pm Pacific Time US (PST).
